Queen Slatted Bed Frame Design

Queen slatted bed frame is a structure, pieces of wood or steel used to support a mattress. In this type of bed is laid the beds, between beds shining and used often instead of a box spring to support a mattress. This type of bed frame can be found in beds made of wood, metal or plastic. These frames can come in many different designs from modern to antique. This type of bed frame can easily come up with wooden pieces arranged between the bed horses or the slats can be attached to each other with a solid strip of cloth that enjoys the forest. There are also slender bed frames with steel legs that the slats hold it in place. In some cases the slats can be held on the bed frame with screws or bolts. For extra safety, some frames have a steel center support underneath the slats. If a futon is used instead of a mattress, the slats are usually closer together providing sufficient support.

Since such a bed frame is often without a box spring, the mattress tends to be closer to the ground and the head is usually visible. Sometimes this type of bed frame will also have a handkerchief on the head and foot boards. Another type of slatted bed frame is simpler in size, with only one of the attached platform laths for support that resembles a platform bed. This bed can also store drawers built under the bed for additional sheets, blankets and pillows.

Many materials can be used to build a queen slatted bed frame, can be made of wood, steel, plastic or a combination. Some bed frames combine carvings and brushed nickel as designer choices. Some children’s beds use slats that are usually made of plastic in different shapes and colors. This type of bed frame can also be used for classic metal beds, like a spider bed frame made of hand-abutting steel pipes. A wooden beam bed frame is handcrafted designs in the headboard or to be built in an antique style cane bed.
