Each cut will require two passes with the electric saw. Notches at the top of each 4 by 4 to accommodate a 2 x 10 piece of wood. This means taking a circular saw and setting the depth exactly to 1 1/2 inches. Make a square pencil mark precisely at 9 1/4 inches from a 4 x 4 end.

Place the two 2 by 10 long pieces to two 4s 4-by-2-inch wood screws. Remember to drill pilot holes and also make a hollow space that is about 1/2 inch deep.
