How to Measure a Room for a Full Size Sofa Bed

A full size sofa bed contains a hidden mattress and frame folded out into a bed. Measuring your room to check it can accommodate a sofa bed means measuring the space for the sofa plus mattress and frame. You also need to plan to move the sofa bed in your room as the doors and corridors leading to your room must be large enough to allow the passage of the sofa bed. Get the dimensions of the sofa bed you want to place in your room, and choose the place you want the sofa bed to be in the room. Measure the length of the couch on your tape measure and place the extended tape measure where you want the back of the couch to be seated. Run a piece of tape on the floor next to the tape measure that corresponds to the length you have measured.
